International Business – Central European Business Realities is a two-year (four semesters) full-time Master’s Program taught in English. Students are offered the possibility to fulfil part of their study obligations at the University of Lyon Business & Management School (France), or at the University of Applied Science in Mainz (Germany), or at the Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), or at the International University Geneva (Switzerland), or at the SGH Warsaw (Poland), or at the Vaasa University (Finland), or at the Linnæus University (Sweden), or at the Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland) and to obtain graduate degrees (a double degree) from both the Czech and the host universities.
There are around 80 students in two academic years and the program fulfils a high degree of international diversity in terms of nationalities represented by the student body. In the 2018/2019 academic year the students came from 30 different countries, such as Austria, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Honduras, Iceland, India, Japan, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom and others.
The advantage of the studies is also in the smaller study groups (one year has a lecture and two parallel seminars), so the program is based on personal relationships not only among students, but also with the coordinator and the teachers.
Program´s graduates have great opportunities in the prestigious international companies all over the world thanks to the high level of internationalization and internationally recognized EPAS accreditation, which IB holds since 2012. The program also established its IB Alumni Club in 2010, which takes care of business networking and maintaining professional contacts between graduates and current students.
