Appointment of the new CEMS Academic Director
President of the University of Economics, Prague prof. Richard Hindls is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jiří HNILICA to the position of Academic Director of the very prestigious CEMS MIM program.
Jiří Hnilica (32) graduated at University of Economics, Prague where he also finished his Ph.D. Currently he works at this institution as an associate professor and Deputy Director of Department of Business Administration. During his Ph.D. studies he spent one month at Central European University, Hungary, five months at University of Aarhus and Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and one month at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. His research interests are focused on corporate finance, especially risk analysis and financial modeling in an evaluation of business performance both in unregulated and regulated industries. He leads and cooperates in several domestic and foreign research projects. At the University of Economics, Prague he teaches “Risk Analysis and Financial Modelling” and “Principles of Managerial Finance”. Together with Universit? Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Italy he participates in “Entrepreneurial Finance” courses.
