Uniqway celebrates first birthday

On Thursday, October 17, it has been year since the Uniqway service was launched. The students of three universities – the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE), Czech Technical University in Prague and the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague – have developed a unique car sharing concept called Uniqway. Now this successful car sharing platform celebrates its first birthday. On that occasion a brand new Kamiq car is usable.

Service is available to students and employees from the above mentioned universities. The annual balance reflects the students’ interest – 1 800 registered users, 496 users came from VŠE, and over 170 000 km. Now, after long negotiation parking cars in some blue zones especially around universities and dormitories is permitted.
Petr Král, the mentor of the project for the VŠE, and Hana Machková, the rector of VŠE, participated in the first birthday celebration.
