“From my point of view, the Rector of the University of Economics, Prague, the student survey was excellent. The survey showed that we have a very strong middle generation of teachers. The youngest winner will be 39 in summer, the oldest will be 44 next week. Students appreciated mostly teachers who are involved in the school. After all, we have two members of the Academic Senate of the University, one member of the Faculty Academic Senate, one Vice-Dean and the Director of the Faculty Center” said the Rector of the University of Economics, Prague Prof. Hana Machková during the award ceremony.
The Rector awarded one teacher from each faculty for the title of “Teacher of the year” on proposals by the Deans, based on the students’ vote in the InSIS university-wide survey. A total of 1958 students voted for their favourite teacher.
The poll ran until February 21, 2020 and was announced during the Academic Plenum on February 27, 2020. The award for “Teacher of the year” will be regularly awarded by the Rector of the University of Economics, Prague for excellent results in the field of education.
Congratulations to all awarded!
