International Fair 2014 at VŠE

On Tuesday 2 December, 2014 the First International Fair was organized by the International Office. Students had a chance to get more information about studying abroad at all the partner universities of the University of Economics, Prague.

In the modern and spacious Atrium of Paradise Building students were provided with stands and promotional materials and they decorated the stands in the colours of their countries and with the symbols of their home universities. By the stands visitors could meet not only exchange students from our partner universities but also VŠE students who spent semester abroad. Students shared their valuable experience with students wishing to study abroad and gave them advice, tips and specifics information about studying at a partner university and in a foreign country.

All day long a stand of the International Office was available, where members of the International Office’s team answered the questions concerning the opportunities to study abroad and selection procedure for exchange mobility. Students could also collect a new printed brochure of the exchange options for the academic year 2015/2016.

International Fair 2014 was a part of the Days of Partner Universities, which took place throughout the whole week from 1 December to 5 December 2014. During these days many students who studied abroad prepared several presentations about partner universities, where they described an education system, activities for exchange students and culture of the countries in question.

For the first time the Days of Partner Universities were connected with the Photo Contest 2014 organized by the International Office. Whole week 63 photographs taken by 39 VŠE students from their study or internship abroad were exposed in the Atrium of the Paradise Building.
