Application deadline for PhD programmes is May 31, 2023

Applicants can choose from nine English-taught doctoral study programmes offered by the Prague University of Economics and Business for the academic year 2023/24. Electronic applications for full-time or part-time studies can be submitted until May 31, 2023.

In contrast to master’s studies, doctoral studies are very individual and more research-oriented. Students have to pass just a few subjects, while the main focus is on their research concerning a topic that they choose and want to explore. What awaits them is participation in conferences, writing articles, assistance in teaching bachelor’s courses and, of course, writing a dissertation.
The advantage for full-time students is a doctoral scholarship, which varies depending on the field of study and faculty, the status of a student even after reaching the age of 26, or the possibility to travel abroad for up to one year.

The application fee for all programmes is 50 EUR and the tuition fee is 5,000 EUR / academic year.
