VŠE at the 50th Annual PIM Network Conference
The Deputy Head of the VŠE International Office Gabriela Böhmová visited the 50th Annual PIM Network Conference hosted by NUCB Nagoya University of Commerce and Business in Japan.
PIM stands for the Partnership in International Management – a consortium of top business schools from around the world that facilitates the development of international cooperation among members, fostering the development of joint programs as well as students and faculty exchange. Since its foundation the network has grown to 65 business schools worldwide. VSE has an active agreement on student exchange with most of the PIM schools, during the academic year 2022-2023 around 180 VSE students spent their semester abroad at one of these best business school.
The conference was attended by 107 delegates from 62 institutions representing the top business schools in 37 countries. A series of lectures and workshops reflecting on the current state of management education and its direction in the coming 50 years have been held, the participants have a chance to visit both NUCB campuses. Furthermore, a number of informal meetings took place with PIM schoools representatives about further options for cooperation and joint projects beyond the scope standard student exchanges.
