Opening of the “Idea Fair” coworking space at the The Prague University of Economics and Business

On Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., a new coworking space “Idea Fair” will open on our campus in Žižkov. This modern space is located on the 1st floor of the Old Building and is designed for all students looking for an inspiring place to study, work on projects, network or just relax with a cup of coffee.

Opening ceremony programme

The opening ceremony will be opened by the Rector Petr Dvořák, who will present the vision and purpose of the new coworking space. Next, Mr. Jakub Heidler, the architect behind the design and concept of the “Idea Fair” from Studio Reaktor, will take the floor.

Deans, vice-deans, school management and other selected guests are invited to the event, which promises to be an interesting meeting full of inspiration and new ideas. The program will include a toast and a ribbon cutting ceremony that will officially open the doors of the coworking space to all students and employees of the VŠE.

The “Idea Fair” coworking space is funded by the National Recovery Plan and aims to provide students and staff of the VŠE with a space that encourages creativity, collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
