VŠE launched a new Horizon Europe project as coordinators

We are pleased to announce that as of June 1, 2024, the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) has become the coordinator of the Horizon Europe project titled “Enhancing Research and Innovation Synergies for Schools of Economics and Business” (RIS4SEB).
The project was initiated in 2023 through close collaboration between the departments of Research and the Project Office. Its main goal is to enhance the competitiveness consortium partners, enabling us to fully establish ourselves on the European Research Area map.
The three-year project includes the following partners:

  • Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi from Italy
  • Faculty of Economics from Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania
  • and Estonian Business School from Estonia.

We are preparing social media channels and a dedicated website for the project. In the meantime, you can follow the project on the European Commission’s CORDIS website: CORDIS.
The most significant outputs of the project will be strategies crucial for the success of the individual partners in the field of international research and for the effective transfer of know-how from development and operational programs to research and innovation programs, such as Horizon Europe, as well as the upcoming 10th EU Framework Program.
These strategies include:

  • A shared strategy for internationalization
  • An HR strategy focused on talent retention
  • A research management strategy.

We have officially launched the project with a traditional kick-off meeting of all partners. You can view photos from the event in our gallery.
We will soon inform you about the channels where you can follow the project’s progress and the outputs we will publish openly!
