French Ambassador Stéphane Crouzat visited the Prague University of Economics and Business

The new Ambassador of the French Republic, Mr. Stéphane Crouzat, accompanied by his Attaché for Science and Higher Education, Ms. Véronique Debord- Lazaro, visited the VŠE on June 11 2024. The Rector of the VŠE doc. Petr Dvořák appreciated the outstanding contribution of the French Embassy to the development of inter-university cooperation.

One of the pillars of this cooperation is the French-Czech Institute of Management (IFTG), which has been operating at the VŠE since 1990. The IFTG’s main project is the MBA_Master Management et Administration des Entreprises programme, whose graduates receive an MBA diploma from the VŠE and a Master 2 diploma from the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, iaelyon School of Management. During his visit, the Ambassador also met with representatives of iaelyon, School of Management, Prof. Chabanne-Riv and Prof. Wissler, who chaired the selection committees for the MBA programme for the academic year 2024/2025.

The Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Machkova, presented the results of the cooperation with French universities in 2023. VŠE sent a total of 122 students to 20 partner universities and received 141 French students. France was thus the most important partner in the field of student exchanges in 2023.
