The VŠE has undergone another Series of Renovations during Summer 2017
During the summer months of 2017, the VŠE’s Žižkov campus underwent a number of reconstructions. The Likešova Aula, which is located on the ground floor of the New Building, was renovated. It now has a total of 250 seats, with electrical sockets installed at all levels of the lecture hall, as well as a simplified passageway through the middle sector.
Another significant change was made during the summer in the library. There are now more separate rooms enabling the students to hold their group work sessions. In addition, the main study room facilities were upgraded so as to ensure better working conditions for students. Relaxation zones have also been added. It is expected that the library will be opened on 16th October, 2017.
At the moment, there is an ongoing extensive refurbishment of the canteen facilities. These facilities are operated by AVGastro, s.r.o. In addition to the structural modifications, the kitchen technology itself has been completely changed.
On the ground floor of the Atrium of the Rajská Building there will be opened a new computer classroom, as well as offices of the Development and Counselling Centre.
