Conference New Challenges for the EU

The 1st Annual Conference on European Studies offers an opportunity for young researchers and PhD students to present their research and exchange ideas.

Centre of European Studies of the University of Economics, Prague in cooperation with Research Plan of the Faculty of International Relations and Konrad‐Adenauer Foundation organizes the 1st Annual Conference of the Czech Association for European Studies. The conference will take place November, 9-10, 2011. The deadline for registration is November, 7. There is no fee for participants.

Conference welcomed papers on topics related to European integration, politics, economics, law and other topics concerning the European Union. The event offers an opportunity to present various contributions on current issues related to the European Union. Three main panels under leading of experts will ensure high quality environment for multidisciplinary discussion on EU topics.

The Centre of European Studies is an institution providing information and counselling, and co-ordinating university activities related to European issues. Working on an inter-disciplinary basis, it is concerned with European problems in the sphere of economics, politics, law, history, culture, and languages.
