CEMS Annual Events 2011

CEMS Annual Events represent one of the most important events of CEMS alliance of which the University of Economics, Prague has been an active member for more than 12 years. CEMS is a strategic alliance of 26 leading business schools and more than 60 multinational companies with a mission to set a global standard of excellence for pre-experience Master’s in Management. The mission has resulted in very high Financial Times rankings of the Master´s programme CEMS alliance delivers.

Annual events are marked by a number of major decisions, announcements, the appearance of a highly prestigious guest speakers and the graduation of more than 600 students with the Deans and Rectors of member schools on stage to present the CEMS MIM diploma. Events usually span a period of three intensive days within which all important CEMS stakeholders meet, discuss, decide and celebrate. The last year events were hosted by Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, this year they will be held from Thursday, December 8 to Saturday, December 10 at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.

CEMS MIM has been imbedded into regular Masters´ Programme in International Management organized at the University of Economics, Prague by the Faculty of Business Administration. This year the University of Economics, Prague will have 44 CEMS MIM graduates in Lisbon who will take over their prestigious supranational business degree awarded by the CEMS alliance and acknowledged as the best passport to an international career.
