Charles University and VŠE host scientific congress of environmental economists

Charles University in cooperation with the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) organize 19th Annual Conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Centre.

In three-day conference, there will be 480 papers presenting the newest research results of economic perspectives in the field of climate changes, environmental pollution, natural resources and green technologies development. Plenary speech will be given by prof. William D. Nordhaus, Yale University. There are several sections by topic organized by well respected international institutions such as World Bank, the European Commission and European Chemical Agency.

The conference takes place at VŠE from June 27 to June 30, 2012. The event is under the patronage of Petr Nečas, Czech Prime minister, Janez Potočník, European Commisssioner for Environment and Bohuslav Svoboda, Mayor of Prague.
