Balkans 2012: The Future and Prospects
The Centre for Regional and Administrative Sciences together with the Department of Regional Studies of the Faculty of Economics, the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) organized educational seminar titled “Balkans 2012: The Future and Prospects” on November 2 and November 7, 2012. The seminar took place under the auspices of Miroslav Ševčík, Dean of the Faculty of Economics.
The Centre for Regional and Administrative Sciences together with the Department of Regional Studies of the Faculty of Economics, the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) organized educational seminar titled “Balkans 2012: The Future and Prospects” on November 2 and November 7, 2012. The seminar took place under the auspices of Miroslav Ševčík, Dean of the Faculty of Economics.
Seminar summoned students and professors from the Faculty of Economics and experts from Embassies and Ministries. The participants were, among others, ambassadors and members of Prague located Embassies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Macedonia, Slovenia, Albania, Croatia, Kosovo and the Embassy of Montenegro in Austria. In addition, the experts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic participated.
The objective of the seminar was to present the economic potential of Balkan countries and their current economic situation. The discussion was focused on the issues related to the economic development of Balkan countries and perspectives of the regional economic development.
