Bachelor of Corporate Finance and Management – CFM
The University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) offers four International bachelor’s degree programs in foreign languages, three of which are taught in English: Bachelor of International Business (IBB), Bachelor of Corporate Finance and Management (CFM) and the Bachelor of Economics (ECON). Information meeting for applicants will take place on Wednesday, March 27 at 3 p.m.
The full-time Corporate Finance and Management bachelor´s degree program taught in English is opened by The Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics, Prague. The objective of CFM program is to educate analytically and socially responsible minded business professionals with a broad economic overview and a focus on managing business performance. The study field is suitable for students with analytical thinking who are interested in the business environment, particularly for those with an emphasis on management and building companies of all sizes and legal forms of ownership, industry and business sectors. Graduates will be able to participate in the execution of economic and managerial functions at mid-management levels in companies and other institutions, where business management education is expected. They start their careers at industrial enterprises, enterprises operating in the energy sector, transport and storage, trade and services or consulting firms.
In terms of CFM diploma recognition, the bachelor´s diploma and the diploma supplement are recognized worldwide in terms of meeting the requirements for entrance into master´s degree programs.
To complete the program, students must pass a study load of 180 European Credits (ECTS). CFM includes courses within the economic base (courses of microeconomics, macroeconomics, computer science, mathematics, statistics and law) and profiling base (business strategy, operations management, corporate finance, performance analysis, marketing, personnel management, entrepreneurship, logistics, management psychology, business ethics, etc.).
With regard to the CFM admission procedure, the program is designed for students from all over the world who have completed their secondary education. Applicants complete an entrance exam held on June 26, 2013 in Prague and parallel in Moscow. In addition to the admission procedure, the candidates must pass brief motivational interview. The tuition fee is 1800 EUR per semester. The deadline for applications for the 2013/2014 academic year is June 10, 2013.
