Prof. Richard Hindls elected the Rector of the Year

The selection of the most popular university rector of academic year 2012/2013 was organized by the Czech Student Union. Nearly 21 000 students voted on-line and the rector of the University of Economics, Prague – Richard Hindls – won. Second place was awarded to the rector of Ostrava University and third position to the rector of VÚT Brno.

Professor Hindls has been leading VŠE since 2006 and he will finish his second term on January 31^st, 2014. For Richard Hindls, the award is not only recognition of his personal long lasting academic carrier but also recognition of the goodwill of the University of Economics, Prague.
