Autumn cultural and sport events
VSE strives to create a friendly environment for students not only for studying, but also for extracurricular activities. During the winter semester it offers to its students and academics opportunity to visit a great number of cultural as well as sport events.
31. 10. 2013 Ice Hockey battle 2013
Prague University teams are going to again compete for prestigious cup on Tuesday 31. 10. from 17:30 in Prague TIPSPORT Arena.
2. 11. 2013 Sport „Fitness day 3“
The Center for Physical Education and Sport has prepared a sport event „Fitness day 3“, where students and staff of VŠE can participate in different exercise sessions led by professional Czech instructors. The event is held on Saturday 2. 11. from 10:00 in the gym of SB and MI 307.
14. 11. 2013 Exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of VSE
The opening ceremonial of the exhibition organized on the occasion of 60th anniversary of VSE at the Faculty of Management in Jindřichův Hradec with participation of the Vice-Rector Hana Machková, the exhibition curator Dr. Andrew Toth and the Dean of FM prof. Ing. Radim Jiroušek, Ph.D.
18. 11. 2013 Ceremony in the National Theatre on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of VSE
19. – 29. 11. 2013 Exhibition of the International Studies Centre „Extraordinary experiences of everyday life or how students of VSE live abroad„
The exhibition of the best pictures will be taking place in the atrium of the Paradise building between 19. – 29. 11. 2013, including the official announcement of results and awards to authors of the best pictures.
20. 11. 2013 Concert of Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers at VŠE
On the 20. 11. from 20:00 in the Vencovsky aula concert of Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers will be held.
Further you can look forward the VSE’s GOT TALENT, taking place on 21. 11. On Wednesday 4. 12. the VSE Ball in Lucerna and on Saturday 7. 12. from 18:00 at the theatre U Hasičů performance of the folklor group Gaudeamus.
At the University of Economics, Prague there are nearly 20,000 students studying each year and many of them are willing to share with others and reveal their skills in a talent contest VSE’s GOT TALENT. Semifinalists will show their performanceS on Thursday 21. 11. from 19:00 at Vencovsky aula. Semifinal is freely accessible to all viewers. There are involved in the competition not only Czech students of full-time study programs, but also foreign students, graduates and several academics. Five best performances will be awarded at the VSE Ball.
VSE Ball will be held in the Great Hall of Lucerna and in the premises of the Lucerna Music Bar on Wednesday 4th of December 2013. Last year the VSE Ball hosted more than 3000 visitors and became the largest gathering of students, teachers and graduates in the history of the school. Tickets for sitting can still be bought at any Ticketpro sales point or online.
All the students are also welcome to visit each Tuesday evening the Film club VSE in Likešova aula.
