CEMS Logistics Faculty Group Meeting at FBA

On Thursday, 3 July 2014, the CEMS Logistics Faculty Group members´ meeting took place at the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE).  Dr. Petr Kolář, the group representative for FBA, scheduled the meeting with colleagues from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniverität Wien – WU). Associate Professor Günter Prockl represented CBS and Dr. Hans-Joachim Schramm was present for WU.

In the meeting, the academics discussed further opportunities for cooperation in the field of joint research projects and publications on topics such as intermodal transport and repositioning management. A detailed discussion about the possibilities of teaching mobility between FBA and CBS in academic year 2014/2015 followed. 

The meeting was a result of a discussion by the academics at the 11th CEMS Research Seminar on Supply Chain Management, which took place in Riezlern, Austria in January 2014. The seminar is regularly organized by the University of Cologne (Universität zu Köln / Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftliche Fakultät) with an FBA representative participating.
