Student of Master in Management Programme was awarded Professor Miroslav Vlček Scholarship
Professor Miroslav Vlček Scholarship is awarded annualy to a foreign student enrolled in an international degree programme. The student, in addition to fulfilling her/his study duties, must have contributed to the dissemination of the reputation of VŠE in the Czech Republic and abroad, motivated foreign candidates to apply to study in Prague, as well as actively involved her/himself in research, educational or other activities for the benefit of foreign students of VŠE.
This year, the scholarship has been awarded to Christyn Li Ling Chew, a student of Master in Management programme (MIMG) at the Faculty of Business Administration. Apart from Christyn’ s excellent grades, she is an active member of the VŠE ambassadors’ team, she has promoted studies at VŠE during Open House Days and helped new coming students during Orientations Week. She continues to share her experience from studying in Prague via numerous blogs and posts on social media. Christyn is an active student. Not only is she involved at VŠE activities, she also devoted her energy to voluntary work at Eco Centrum in Jizerské Hory during summer. Christyn is a Buddy in the ESN VSE Prague Buddy programme and a member of AEGEE VŠE Praha Club, AIESEC VSE Praha (LC) Club and VSE Family Business Club.
The award was handed over by Hana Machková, VŠE Vice-Rector for International Relations during a joint event of the Study in Prague consortium in the Residence of the Mayor of the Capital City of Prague.
Four students from the other Prague universities (Charles University, Czech Technical University in Prague, University of Chemistry and Technology Prague and Czech University of Life Sciences Prague) also received the scholarship.
