VSE representatives attended the 4th year of CZEDUCON conference

Experts in international higher education gathered on 21^st and 22^nd of November, 2022 in Prague’s O2 Universum for the CZEDUCON conference, held by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS) for the 4^th time already. This time it was co-held with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic (MŠMT) as part of 2022’s Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union activities. CZEDUCON is the largest Czech conference aimed at sharing good practices in university internationalization, this year elevated even to the European level with 500 visitors from 25 European countries.

The conference’s opening was made by Vladimír Balaš, Czech Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports. Main topics revolved around strategy and policy making in higher education with the emphasis particularly on strengthening European values, digitalization, inclusion and sustainability. The programme involved more than thirty interesting presentations given by speakers from various countries. Many of those presentations were recorded and are now available on czeducon.cz.
