Financial Times: Prague University of Economics and Business is 49th in this year’s list of Europe’s best business schools

The Financial Times has published the results of its annual European Business Schools ranking. Prague University of Economics and Business, for which the Faculty of Business Administration provides data for the ranking, is ranked 49th. It has improved its ranking by 3 places compared to last year (13 places compared to the 2022 ranking).

VŠE has been rising in the rankings for more than 5 years. It has been driven up in particular by its elite programme for managers of international companies CEMS Master in International Management taught at the Faculty of Business Administration, which was ranked the 16th best master’s programme of its kind in the world in the Financial Times Master in Management 2024 ranking.

The FT European Business Schools ranking is based on the school’s position in other Financial Times rankings for the same year. In addition to the aforementioned Master in Management, there is a global ranking of the best MBAs, an executive MBA ranking and two rankings of Non-Academic Executive Education programmes. However, the quality of the programmes is an important factor in the final ranking.

First place this year went to INSEAD, which is not a European university in the true sense of the word, as it is based not only in France but also in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.

Of the former Eastern bloc countries, only Poland’s Kozminsky University is ahead of VŠE, which came 38th this year.
