Information of the VŠE and faculties’ management on the beginning of teaching period with regard to the current emergency situation

Information for students

  1. The beginning of teaching in the new academic year will start according to the current schedule, i.e. on Monday 16 September 2024 in full-time form
  2. If you will not be able to travel to Prague or Jindřichův Hradec and attend classes according to the schedule, please contact your teachers by e-mail to obtain the necessary information and possibly substitute classes.
  3. In the event that you are unable to attend classes for serious reasons related to the current emergency situation for more than the following week, please also inform your study departments.
  4. If you or your families have been directly affected by the floods and need psychological help, you can contact the Academic Psychological Counselling Service, where you will receive priority attention. In case the floods have caused material or financial damage that will complicate your studies, you can contact your Deans or the Rector for assistance.  

 Information for staff

  1. We ask you to deal individually with students, without delay, when the current emergency situation prevents them from attending classes.
  2. In the event that the current situation prevents you from attending classes you teach, make arrangements with your department chairs in a timely manner to arrange for teaching, and inform students in a timely manner of any adjustments that may need to be made.
