Innovation Week 6 – 7 November

The first days of Innovation Week at the VŠE are successfully over. The days were packed with an interesting programme full of lectures and workshops. Here are at least a few of them:

Monday’s program started with a lecture by the US Ambassador Bijan Sabet and a discussion with students about cooperation between our countries, the current geopolitical situation and a responsible approach to AI.

There was also a whole lecture block about AI, where the audience could learn what exactly are LL models of AI, how to look at them properly and what impact they can have on society in the near future.

An insight into Chinese business ethics was given by Dr. Qi Hudečková, who let the students take a peek under the hood of Chinese culture and value system.

On Tuesday, Martin Jahn, a member of the Škoda Auto Board responsible for marketing and sales, enriched the innovation week with his lecture on rebranding.

The Master Brain workshop was led by Václav Strnadel, who tried to show the audience the influence of their own thinking and unlock the hidden potential of their own brain.

Experts from ČSOB – Milan Nguyen, Václav Štětina and Tomáš Uher came to talk about financial markets in practice. Using practical examples, students could understand their functioning and what it means to be a trader on financial markets.

Innovation Week offers many more lectures and workshops and everyone will surely choose from interesting topics that will enrich their career and personal life.
