President Appointed New Rector of Prague University of Economics and Business

On January 26, 2022, the President of the Czech Republic appointed the current Vice-Rector Petr Dvořák Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business at Prague Castle. The appointment takes effect on April 1, 2022, and the four-year term ends on March 31, 2026.
The President appointed a total of eleven rectors. The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Petr Gazdík also took part in the appointment act.

Petr Dvořák takes over the post from Hana Machková, who has been leading the University since 2014.
