VSE welcomed over 300 Exchange students in Spring Semester 2025

We are excited to welcome 307 incoming Exchange students of 49 nationalities coming to study at VŠE during the Spring Semester 2025. To help them prepare for their upcoming studies, VSE International Office organised an Orientation Week prior to the beginning of the classes.

During the Orientation Week students learned about culture shock and how to manage it, got introduced to useful Czech phrases and gained insights into Czech history. They could also explore the services offered by the VŠE library and Cowork Idea Fair. During the first week of classes students could participate in Team Game to help them discover the Žižkov campus and meet other incoming Exchange students.

Prior to their arrival incoming students also got paired with local students via the Buddy Programme organized by ESN VSE Prague. Local students support incoming students throughout their stay in Prague. Simultaneously, the student organisation ESN VSE Prague is hosting many events to help incoming Exchange students settle in, make new friends and explore not only Prague city.

All incoming Exchange students and their Buddies were officially welcomed during the Welcome Ceremony in Vencovského aula. During the ceremony winners from the Team Game were announced and awarded new VSE merch. The welcome speech was followed by a cultural dance and musical performance of the VSE Gaudeamus folk group.

We are delighted to see a large community of Exchange students from our partner universities each semester and wishes the them a pleasant and enriching stay in Prague.
